Falcon Trading deliver the projects on-time and within budget using proven methodologies that have been in practice for over 4 years.

Our development process is highly manageable and well-documented. Therefore our clients can control any stage of project implementation. We ensure safety and security of code and we do not disclose any information about the project without customer's permission.

Our methodology is based on Sure Step and adjusted to fit the client needs based on our work experience. We are always updating our methodologies to stay current with the latest technical changes and continually strive to be efficient and error free.

Sure Step defines 6 Main Phases and 2 additional phases for optimization and upgrade. It covers the complete lifecycle from project initiation, development, deployment, optimization and upgrade to the next version.

Usually an ERP project implementation follow these phases, Falcon Trading is specialized in the last 3 phases, but can assist you with a high level of expertise on the Analysis and Design phases also.

·    Analysis: In the analysis phase the business processes and system requirements are identified and documented at a high level. The key deliverable of this phase is typically a Functional Requirements document (FRD).

·    Design: Main purpose of the design phase is to find a way how the customer’s processes and needs can be implemented with Dynamics and present how the system will be architected. The proposed system design will be delivered in the form of a Solution Design Document (SDD), including the System Test Plan.

·    Development & Testing: Most of the programming work is done in the development. Development covers the creation of new features and customization of existing features as well as the data migration (if any). Development work will be divided into Units/Features. Clients are asked to test each Unit as delivered. All features and the data migration have to be tested. Beside features and data migration testing it is necessary to do security testing. The phase ends when most of the specified features are developed and tested and the data migration is done. The deliverables and documents involved in this phase for each feature are: Deployment Procedure Document (DPD), XPO, Technical Design Document(TDD), Change Request Document (CRD), Test Scripts Document (TSD).

·    Deployment: Goal of the deployment phase is to setup the operational dynamics environment at the customer. Beside installation, configuration and feature deployment, the phase focuses on testing at system level. So you have to run the User acceptance tests, process tests, security tests and load tests as defined in the System test plan. When the system runs and all tests pass the deployment phase is finished.

·    Support & Maintenance: Once your system is deployed Falcon Trading will be available to ensure that your business objectives are achieved; implemented features & functions are understood. In our experience, many new ideas occur once clients become familiar with the system and its flexibility. Throughout the Support phase we will be evaluating opportunities for optimizing and adding to the system already in place to ensure that the system continues to be the optimal solution for our customer.

These days a new topic about Agile methodology is debated between the ERP people “It is possible to implement ERP the Agile way?”. I start to believe this, but not yet decided. Read more about this on some articles found on internet: “March 2009: Sure Step, Agile and Dinosaurs“, “Is agile ERP implementation possible?”,“5 steps to implement ERP the Agile way”.
